Airbags are another aspect of the BMW X3's comprehensive safety programme. The protection afforded by driver and front passenger airbags is augmented by side airbags. These side and head airbags are standard in front and rear. The Impact Depending System inflates only the appropriate airbags to the correct degree for maximum safety.
